Sigfried Gold, PhD
Vice President, Health Informatics
Sigfried Gold is Vice President of Health Informatics at Allasys. He carries the company's health informatics portfolio, building the evidence base for research informatics work and shaping the technical narrative for federal funding applications. He believes clinical data only matters if humans can actually make sense of it, and has spent two decades building visual analytics tools that make complex health data legible. He serves as Senior Research Informatics Applications Architect at Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine and is a collaborator with OHDSI. He founded OJC Technologies/Pixo and served as Principal Investigator on research with the University of Maryland's Human-Computer Interaction Lab. He holds a PhD in Clinical Research Informatics from the University of Maryland, an MA in Biomedical Informatics from Columbia, and an MFA in Creative Writing from Sarah Lawrence College.
